tomorrow my journey begins, with a train down to london. One night in london (with Judy and Jess <3 wayhey) and then on tuesday it's off to tokyo with me. By wednesday morning I'll be on my way to Kunohe.
Of course, I'll get an internet connection so here's some details for anyoen that doesn't have them; Skype: Tina.Bubbles Twitter: SkyBPink Blog: www.sanguiscity.com
Mind you, I don't know how long it will take or how easy it will be to get the internet out there so I may be a month or two. Still, I think I have addresses for everyone who has spoken to me about writing to each other so we're all good ;) I do like writing letters.
Mum, Dad and Bry are coming to see me in november for my birthday. I'm looking forward to that already!
well, this it it then. I'll miss you guys! (Make sure to have some awesome parties, make me proud ;) x)

I've packed, un-packed, and re-packed my suitcase and rucksack. Starting to get nervous about it so I went to lie in the garden, soak up some sun and be accosted for attention by paws. (he knows I'm leaving, somehow. He's never been so desperate for attention in his life! or so protective, which is cute).
Then I came back inside and did it again. And it's still not right, and there's still stuff I might want to take and might not and I don't know which books to take or not and I really think I could leave most of it behind and replace stuff once I get there but I don't know what will be nearby out in Kunohe, or how much new stuff I could afford and I have a lot of favourite things I want with me. Oh, also, I have 7 favourite jumpers. How?! I've decided on 3 to take, and one to wear travelling. I have suncream and art stuff and chargers and whatnot. And a nice new toothbrush. I'd like to just forgoe everything, take my DS and my toothbrush and just wing it :p But, I won't have the money to replace everything. Over the course of packing I've filled a binbag of stuff to be thrown out, and another binbag of stuff for the charity shop.
Luckily, I have untill sunday to do this, and either way I'll be alright, so I'm just taking a wee chillout break right now!
last night was good, seeing my cousins again was great. They're both very tall and very pretty though so i felt a tad like a hobbit lol!! Still, they should be coming over on friday with the rest of the family for a leaving-dinner type thing.
I went into college this afternoon to pick up my things. I had no idea I'd done so much work, i should cut that out ;P! Sadly, the Comm Arts class that use our room on fridays had spilled glue all down my public art presentation sheet, there was spray-mount all over all of Laura's things and some other stuff had paint spille don it or it was folded or crushed. Charlotte found a few of her paintings kicked under a desk. However, I don't think we'll get marked down for it, since we got everything checked over a few weeks ago, so they know it was fine before the deadline.
You know, I think I have too much stuff. But it's too late to sort it out now, but I'll probably clear out in a big way next summer. I figure, anything I don't miss over the next year can get sold/thrown out/given to the charity shop. Because if I don't miss it, then I porbably don't need it right?
I need to buy new ice lolly shapes. My precious, precious lolly shapes SHATTERED... when Fraser dropped them, which makes me a sad bunny. He was going to replace them even though it's not exactly his fault, bless. But I'll be in town before him so it's all good.
It's roasting.

It's been a long week, I've been keeping myself busy catching up with folks since it is now one week untill I leave. I spent a few days in stirling with hannah, have been chilling out around the house with paws and grandpa. Spent the weekend with the girls for one last girlie weekend :) I will miss our evenings of cooking, nights of drinking and sundays of watching pokemon! In the interest of seeing-everyone-before-leaving, I am about to head out to the pub for drinks with cousins I haven't seen in years, we were very close in our pre-teens, but really haven't spent any time together since. I am greatly looking forward to spending next weekend with bry.
aand here's Fra to huckle me off to the pub.

Home from potentially my last Glasgow matsuri! How exciting.
I mean, I'll go back to the class to see folks, but the next matsuri I'll be here for won't be untill 2011 since they're at the start of the year. And by then, I'll (hopefully) be back at North Glasgow doing the degree year and/or have a decent job/ who knows what life will be like then.
so yeah... well it has been 6 years of matsuri service (except one or two?). Good times.

In college.
I was only here to take my sculpture out it's mould, and to pick up my evaluation. Turns out, all the scultpures are broken because they told us the wrong formula for the jesmonite. And the system has eaten my evaluation, so I have to type it out again. Every semester so far, I've had the damn computers destroy something important and the tutors screw something up.
And now I'm listening to my classmates discuss politics and if I hear the phrase "I'm not racit, but.." one more time I might have to start tearing jugulars.

will I have magical powers too?
Seriously, I've been hunting every chance I get for the last two months for Ice Lolly moulds, (you know, the plasctic ones you put juice in then freeze?). No luck, ever, not even in Asda. Lo and Behold, mum goes to some random corner shop for a sandwich and comes back with a set of ice lolly shapes! Genius! This is Mum Magic at it's finest. One day, I will have these powers, but for today, I will have ice lollies.
This is similar to the Power of Bry, which is when something isn't working and I complain about it to Bry, whatever it is that wasn't working automatically fixes itself. I've done this on enough occasions to know it to be true. he got his magic early in life.
I started reading Air Gear. it's exactly like Yakitate Japan only with skates. And Y!J was exactly like Ranma only with bread. And I guess Ranma is responsible for starting the entire "rediculously themed battle with interesting twist per chapter" genre. It sure ain't literature. but I do love it.
My god my head hurts. I was sitting in the car reading a magazine. Why? I ask, why? I suffer horribly from both migranes and car sickness, why was I staring at Grazia's hideous fashion pages in the car? I don't know, maybe I'm just special in the head. Still, I got a great laugh out of some of the shoes. And did you know Crop-Tops are IN this summer? Oh yes, crop tops. Look out glasgow! There'll be white crop tops hovering over every neon tutu this summer ;)
WHY AM I STILL TYPING. I have NO idea what I was ment to be doing right now. It can't have been important I guess.
Anyway, thanks to everyone who was there on saturday. I hope you all had fun! I went to fife to see bry to stave of the post-party blues. I'm gonna miss you lot. For a year. But then I'll be back and I'll have a homecoming party.
you know what I'd completely forgotten about japan? Earthquakes. There's going to be earthquakes. I've never experienced one before, I'm a little bit looking forward to it - assuming there isn't a dangerous one, I don't want to be in a dangerous one obviously. Not that I'll get to choose, but I can hope! Also wildlife. I'll be in the country, there's going to be wildlife. Dunno what midyou. Hornets or racoons or something. I'll take photos. I won't take up close photos of anything dangerous though, sorry.
"heey weird thing raiding the bin... *CAMERAFLASH*" *is mauled* *crawls to hospital*.."..I got a reeaaly cute photo though."

monday is such a lonely sort of day. But it's my last week of college and work, at long long last, and there's talk of going to the beach this weekend, which is keeping me going. I am so tired today, the weekend was wonderful, thanks guys <3.
This morning has gone in quite fast, but i've mostly been waiting around and making a tiny daisy chain out of pink wire. And rounding off that blasted blue styrofoam angel. Urg, styrofoam.

so I joined twitter, http://twitter.com/SkyBPink
it was always going to happen really, and I don't want left out the loop over the next year you know? :( don't forget me...
as usual "skybluepink" was taken by somebody who posted twice months ago and haven't been back, so I'm just "skyBpink"... I was gonna go for "skybloodpink" or "skybluepurple", but then I'd feel like I was my own stalker or something, which is a bit weird.
I have a travel journal. It has phone numbers, and train line info in it. yay.
REMEDIATION WEEK IS NEXT WEEK. That means, the tutors go over everything with you and tell you to either do something extra right away, or that it's fine and you can go back to pick it up 2 weeks after.
I've been posting on both DeviantArt and SanguisCity this week, I'm on a roll internet-wise.
japan plans are coming together, I just need a phone that works there and/or internationally, for which I have about a million options and no real direction. A bank account, which I will do this week and hope to god they're not going to waste my time and mess me about too much. Then, I guess I should ask Sakanoue what my new address will be and how quickly I can get the internet there.. haha. I've got some plug adaptors sourced and such, and I think I'll be going with extra luggage instead of shipping stuff. Oh, and I need to download Skype.
next week is my last week of work aswell, then all my time gets devoted to organizing and packing. It's gonna be a tough few weeks to since Bry's gonna be in.. japan.. over that time, so no long multiple cuddly goodbyes for us 8'(
I guess the next few months will be exceptionally lonely, since I'll be preoccupied with worry untill I go, then I'll be in a new place on my own. But these are the things we do for a bigger picture aren't they? *siigh*. I can't wait till october, I'll have settled in by then, and I can start looking forward to Bry and the family visiting for my bday. lol.
I hope everything goes as planned.

The Dr Who thing was ace. I got shot by a dalek. It was cool. And we saw star trek at the imax, (yes, my mum is that cool).
Quinto.. yes, even as spock, deffinately <3ing that. Anyway, since I've actually seen some star trek now, I took that quiz again ( who? )
aaand I got someone who wasn't even in the film, so I'm still none the wiser. Ace!
doesn't matter though, I got shot by a dalek, I'm cool like that.
College wise, one week to go and I'm pretty much on track. Two weeks or so left of work aswell.

Since your accomplishments are seldom noticed, and you are rarely thought of, you are expendable. That doesn't mean your job isn't important but if you were in Star Trek you would be killed off in the first episode you appeared in.

The plan was to go to the consulate next wednesday to apply for my visa, but after this last few days I couldn't take the nightmares and nerves anymore and decided to go today instead. I decided this yesterday and attempted to scare up some company, luckily, my first port of call Clare was willing to come with! You have never failed me Clare <3. So off we went, and to the conulate. Now, on the phone on monday I was told I'd be interviewed, which i wasn't. And the woman didn't want any of my reference letters or exam certs which i inculded on a just-in-case basis. Then she charged me a Visa-Fee that I had no heads up about as it isn't on the info site and wasn't mentioned on the phone or in person the day I picked up the forms. And she said "it takes 5 working days to process your visa"... "goodbye". Is that good? I just don't know. I hope it's good. Also the small dilema of possibly leaving on the day Bry gets back from his holiday, and so cutting our time together this year 2 weeks short, has been solved as Sakanoue-san can pick me up from the station on any day, so I can travel during the week instead of on the weekend, which was the only time Graeme-san could meet me. I could of course make my own way to Kunohe, but having the option of guidance on the first trip is just indespenibly helpful and good you know? The less stress the better. So far though everyone I've been emailing has been very helpful which is just fantastic. I don't think I've ever got to deal with such competent people before.
College wise, I have powered through my projects, and despite having another final piece sprung on us last minute AGAIN, I still might finish everything on time at an acceptable level. Assuming I keep up with my current projects and really hammer out this last-minute Display Board that we weren't told about, isn't on the brief and is apparently crucial to passing this year.
On the bright side, home is an easier place to be now that our kitchen is back, works, and looks nice. I can have tea, and food.
really, I've been going mental though, seriosuly guys, I have stuff to do but I still feel lonely if I'm completely ignored *sulk*. Gayle's phonecalls have been keeping me in-check with reality though, so I'll probably be okay. Although still nearly posted a few days ago about how I got a whole slice of toast in my mouth(It was the most exciting thing I'd done all day..).
I'm really just looking forward to tomorrow night, and the weekend now. Auntie Margarent's funeral will be on saturday morning, but by the afternoon I'll be free as a bird and needing some serious reality check if anything's going on.

The last 5 days may have been the most eventfull of my life so far. I mean, stuff happens, it always does, but all in a row is just crazy! I feel like I've been moving around automatically and only just now I've realised I'm not a robot and I might need to sleep. Wednesday involved a flying trip to edinburgh for Visa forms. And as of Thursday I have perfectly manicured nails and a glorious girly day to remember over the next year. Friday night was spent with bry as usual <3 and there's only one more friday at the flat before he goes back to fife which is a little bit sad since going there has been the routine for the last 11 months. Saturday morning, japanese class and some more lectures about Spies from Fumi-san. Saturday night was a roaring trip to the catty. Sunday night, Dave's party which was great but I was completely exausted so I spent a lot of time just staying still and enjoying the general atmos. Tonight, Bry was over for dinner and we sat around the table chattering since I haven't been home in some time and thought it'd be good. But my god my parents are insensible sober nevermind ~after~ dinner. Funny occasionally though so it's all good.
